Alaap Rag
Hi, I'm Alaap, an 11th grader at Lynbrook High School. I have been learning Carnatic Music for the past 12 years and have given performances in India & the USA. I have competed in many competitions such as Papanasam Sivan Competition, OSAAT, Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana, etc. and have won many prizes.

Meenakshi Iyer
Hi, I am Meenakshi, an 11th grader at Cupertino High School. I learned Carnatic Music for 7 years, and am currently learning Western Music. I have participated in many competitions such as Papanasam Sivan Competition etc. and have won prizes. I have given short concerts in the Bay Area.
Pooja Manapat
Hi, I’m Pooja, an 11th grader at Saratoga High School. I have been learning Bharatanatyam, a form of Indian classical dance, for 12 years. I have performed at various venues, India as well as the US. I have completed my arangetram in 2015 and since then, I have continued to learn and perform this art form.

Shreya Virinchipuram
Hi, I’m Shreya, a 10th grader at Washington High School. I have been learning Carnatic Vocal for the past 11 years and am currently learning from Vidushi Sriranjani Santhanagopalan. I am also learning Carnatic Violin from Sr. Saravanpriyan Sriraman. I have been performing for 8 years and have given concerts in India and the Bay Area.
Deeksha Venkateswaran
Hi, my name is Deeksha Venkateswaran. I am a 10th grader attending Milpitas High School and I have been learning Carnatic music for the past 7 years. I was initiated into Carnatic Music by Smt Akila Iyer at the age 8. Currently, I am under the tutelage of Vidwan Sri Kolkata Vijayaraghavan. I also learn Carnatic violin from Vidushi Smt. H.M. Smitha and Hindustani Vocal from Sri Manoj and Smt. Archana Tamhankar.
Thejeswini Sai Swaminathan
Hi, I’m Thejeswini Sai Swaminathan, a 10th grader at Washington High School and I have been learning Carnatic music for the past 12 years. I was initiated into Carnatic music by Smt. Nandini Ramamurthy, disciple of Sri. Neyveli Santhanagopalan, at the age of 4, and I am currently under the tutelage of Vidwan Sri Kolkata K. Vijayaraghavan, disciple of Madurai T.N.Seshagopalan. I have also been learning Carnatic violin for the past 8 years under the guidance of Sri Saravanapriyan Sriraman, disciple of G. J. R. Krishnan. I have been performing for the past 8 years, and given concerts and won many competitions around the Bay Area and in India.
Hi! My name is Deetshana and I am currently a junior at Monta Vista High School. I have been learning music from Smt. Nandini Ramamurthi for the past 10 years and have performed and won awards at competitions. I am an active member of my school’s Science Olympiad and Speech team. In my free time I enjoy composing music on my piano and making Indian-pop fusions. Additionally, I love teaching children STEM, and now singing through Musical Mindz!

Sachita Kashyap
My name is Sachita Kashyap, and I am an 11th grader at Monta Vista High School. I have been practicing Bharatanatyam for the past 12 years, and completed my arangetram in 2014. Since then, I have performed at many local and international platforms like Bharat Kalachar during the Chennai Margazhi Music Season, TTD Naada Neerajanam, and ethnic/folk Ballets that have fetched awards at Grand Prix Italia 2018.
Avantika Thiruppukuzhi
Hi! I’m Avantika, a 10th grader at Lynbrook High School. I am a disciple of Guru Smt. Vishal Ramani, founder and artistic director of Shri Krupa Dance Company. I have been learning and performing Bharatanatyam, a form of Indian classical dance, for 9 years. I have performed at several venues over the years and have completed my arangetram in 2018. To this day, I continue to explore and learn the beautiful art form and develop my deep passion for it. I look forward to achieving so much more in dance and keeping the culture alive for generations forward.
